Sensitive

About a year or so ago, I was singing "you are my sunshine" and when I got to the second stanza where it talks about "I had a dream dear, when I lay sleeping, that I held you in my arms, and when I woke dear, I was mistaken so I held my head and cried.", he would object to me singing it because it was "sad".

Today, the a very sorrowful and melancholy version of "somewhere over the rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was playing on the stereo when he came in, and he pauses and asks "what song is this?" I asked if he liked it. He said yeah.

I think it shows he has a sensitivity to beautiful words and sounds and sensitive little soul. I wonder how he'd enjoy poetry?
