Dances and teeth

Daddy Daughter Dance, March 2014
Andrew took Belle to her first dance this past March. It was the Daddy daughter dance at Courtade. He have her a bouquet of flowers and then off they went to dinner. Andrew said when they arrived the song from the movie "Frozen" was playing and she was excited! He says she "lost herself" dancing and her little friends were having a hard time keeping up. So sweet.
Bowling
Drew and I had our own date night and went bowling. He schooled me. He ended up with 109 points one game. I had fun watching him get into the game…check it out.

Lost Teeth
Drew had some excitement of his own this week. After weeks of watching the teeth wiggle more and more, he lost 2 teeth in 2 days. The first one fell out into the snow, so we had to write a letter to the tooth fairy to explain. Here's Drew reading the note he wrote. The little one who had kind of a slur to his s's when he spoke is now gone. Of course the tooth fairy came  and left a coin.

Skiing!

Well, winter is STILL here, 12+ weeks after the first snow fall back in November. We are trying to embrace it by getting out in it! We spent the last weekend at the Homestead with some good friends--and it was wonderful. Beautiful blue skies, crisp winter air, unique views of a frozen Lake Michigan, and fun! We are so thankful to have good friends and such beauty so close by. I got on a snowboard for the 4th time in 12 years and I think it finally clicked. It was so fun! I think we all had a blast, since our conclusion was that we should go in on a time share together.
