"I just did a lanaguge assessment with Annabelle - wow! I am so proud of her. She knew all uppercase letters, 23/26 lowercase and 7/26 sounds. She will be word building in no time!"I am so proud of her, too! I hope she doesn't get bored in school.
Drew is liking his new classroom well enough. He was excited last night to get back to school to work on the map of the world work he's been doing. He was hopeful he'd get to work on it first thing.
They are adjusting to their new friends and activities, and riding the bus home together.
Grandma visited with us for the month of September, too. That was so special and we are so blessed by her visits. She babysits for us regularly and even allowed us enough time to go camping up in the UP one weekend sans kids. We went blueberry picking, had dinners together, she got to see Belle in action at gymnastics, and see the kids try out the ukelele…we played games together, went shopping, painted and sipped at a local winery and generally enjoyed each other's company. Thank you for all you do for us Grandma! We miss you!
